Quoting O'Riley
"Anarchy is bad. Laws are good. If you don't like them, change them." -- Bill O'Riley on Hannity & Colmes 9/21/07 in a discussion about laws that mandated racial segregation.
Right, laws are good because... they're laws? So, they're universally good? As in you can't have an unethical or unconstitutional law? (The constitution, of course, being the law of the land.) You mean, the government doesn't need to be held to a moral standard, because they make the laws and "laws are good"? You know that's a really interesting perspective.
And, why in the world would you need, or even want, to change something that is universally good?
And anarchy is bad, of course, because then you have a the possibility of a monopoly who has a vested interest in satisfying your desires, rather than a guaranteed monopoly who doesn't?
I'm sorry.. but somehow this isn't making sense to me.... Could someone please try and explain it one more time?
